Jorge is an AI ventures consultant at Cedars-Sinai. Jorge’s background is in healthcare business development and strategy, with previous roles in Pfizer’s Corporate Development team, Amgen’s Health Economics team, and Lazard’s Healthcare M&A team and has served as a strategic and financial advisor in the biopharma and life science tools space with deals totaling over $160M. Jorge has prepared strategic, market, growth, and financial analyses for leading digital health, ‘omics companies, and bioinformatics companies and led the research and development of 4 companies spinning out of a leading health system this year.
Jorge studied economics at Harvard with honors and is a Coke Scholar, Dell Scholar, Ronald McDonald Scholar, Milken Scholar and Pfizer Breakthrough Fellow among other recognitions.
Harshel leads AI venture/buyout strategies at Redesign Health. Before going vertical into healthcare, he served as an SPL at Scale AI where he ran engagements like Meta super-intelligence while productizing research for all gen AI projects. He also previously started the longevity startup, BetterBrain, with the founder of the McKinsey Health Institute that has served tens of thousands of patients and was featured on Joe Rogan as a topic of conversation in early Feb 2026.
Harshel also studied bioinformatics and physics at Harvard and UCL, where he earned a first class degree while being top 5% in the cohort.
